Many trekkers walk in front the road head at jiri, through the lovely panoramic hills of the Solu region. Some Trekkers fly into the Tenzing Hillary airport Lukla to start their trek. Lukla is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park and reach the town of Namche Bazaar, where most trekkers take acclimatize to the high altitude. From this place one may branch towards the village of Thame or continue on to take of the main Khumbu routes to go Gokyo Lake or after an hour trail direct to Everest Base Camp. The administrative headquarters of the Khumbu region; Khumjung or Thami are more typical Sherpa villages; or Tengpoche Monastery. From Tengpoche you will have an excellent view of Mt.Everest 8848m.and its more spectacular neighbour Ama Dablam 6856m. as well as southern flank of Pumari 7145 mtrs and you can see the Mt.
