Day 00: Arrival day in Kathmandu Airport 1300mtrs.
You are well come to Himalayas Nepal! We pick up you from Tribhuvan International Airport and drop to hotel where you had booked. After resting some hours then we come there to brief about our mustang trip program.
Day 00: Trek preparation in Kathmandu.
Trekking preparation day of Upper mustang trek as well as introduction with your trip staff.
Day 01: Drive/Fly to Pokhara 823mtrs /5-6 hrs drive and 30 minute fly.
There is two ways go in Pokhara by Drive and flight. It takes 6-7 hours if you take tourist bus and 30m for flight by different airlines. When you will be in Pokhara rest of time visit lakeside and Boating in Fewa Lake and we recommended by flight because you will save time then you can explore half day Pokhara valley sightseeing overnight at lodge.
Day 02: Fly to Jomsom 2715mtrs and trek to Kagbeni 2810mtrs/35m and 3-4hours by trek.
According to flight schedule, if we have time in Pokhara then have breakfast otherwise we will reach in Jomsom to have breakfast after 30 minute flight. Landing place (jomsom airport) is district Headquarter of Mustang District and known as courtyard of Mountains. After this place our trek start on amazing windy trail on the Kali Gandaki River bank then will reach Ekley-bhatti then we have lunch here. After lunch we trek continue rigth bank of Kaligandaki to Kagbeni and will be there after 3-4 hours total walk. Kagbeni is unique and scenic houses build by stone and muddy and this is the gate way of Upper Mustang trekking, overnight at lodge.
Day 03: Kagbeni to Chele 3050mtrs/ 5-6 hours.
After breakfast our trek start with a restricted areapermit check up and onwards to the riverbank of Kali Gandaki River. We go into UpperMustang and follow the east bank of the Kali Gandaki River over a series of small ridges. Across the river we can see Kang Gompa, a centre of the Nyingmapa sect. Crossing Gurung Village of Tangbe attracted black, red and white chortens that typify upper Mustang. The town of white washed houses contains an interesting model of alleyways and is surrounded by fields of wheat, barley and buckwheat, interspersed with small apple orchards garden. Again cross to the east bank of the Kali Gandaki River and climb up to the village of Chele after walking 5-6hours and overnight at lodge.
Day 04: Chele to Syanbochen 3475mtrs/ 6-7 hours.
Today our trek is crossing of a series of large spure. We cross Taklam La Pass 3624mtrs through narrow trekking trail with view of Tilicho Peak, Yakawa Kang, Nilgiri and Damodar Dnada.The valley is dissect the trail have cool streams and juniper trees to enable us to relax for a while. These altitudes should not present any acclimatization issues, so we just take our time and enjoy the walk then we will reach Syanboche after 6-7hours overnight there.
Day 05: Syanbochen to Ghami 3520mtrs/5-6 hours.
After breakfast our trail ascent to the Yamda La 3850mtrs and passing few teahouses, chorten and local villages which is like Tibetan style of houses with open Varanda, and crosses over a few other passes. Avenues of popular trees and fields of barley mark our trail as we head to Nyi La 4010mtrs. Nyi Pass is the highest point of the trek thus far and the southern boundary of Lo, we drop down to our overnight at Ghaymi.
Day 06: Ghami to Charang 3560mtrs/ 4-5 hours.
Today`s walk is driest part of mustang, after breakfast with a pleasant walk and easily get to the Charang with magnificent views of the countryside, from the gentle contours of the north to the rugged mountains in the east and west, are a source of inspiration. We descend to the Ghaymi Khola and pass a spectacular series of Mani walls (Secret stone wall of the Buddhism) to the village of Charang with its huge white dzong and red Gompa and an excellent collection of statues as well thankas overnight at Charang.
Day 07: Charang to Lo-Mangthang 3700mtrs/5-6 hours.
We go for morning explore the interesting village of Charang as well as pray time in large monastery, after that we have breakfast then leave to Lo Manthang.We leave Charang Khola and trail ascent to 3850mtr pass of Lo passing through many chortens. The path broadens and finally we get our first view of the wallet city of Lo manthang. The city has only one entrance so we have to follow the wall to the gate on the north east corner. The white washed walls enclose around houses, Monastry and a palace. We stay at teahouse and rest of the time explores the surrounding area.
Day 08: Explore the Lo-Mangthang.
Today is exploration day in amazing cultural and historical center of Lo manthang. There are 150 houses and major Gompas to visit during our stay. The palace is the home of the Raja (King) and his Rani (Queen) is the attraction as well as the surrounding panoramic views of the Himalayas. Although the Raja's function is now primarily ceremonial he is seen as a person who can help people resolve local issues. The town itself is fascinating, and offers countless opportunities to observe a vibrant Tibetan culture. There are many places to explore and manage your time to explore the places hiring horses own your expenses as well this place is known as kingdom of monastery so when you visit there you should help them as a entrance fees and Donation to maintain monastery.
Day 09: Lo-Mangthang to Ghar Gumpa 3950mtrs/4-5 hours.
After breakfast we start to walk, spending wonderful time at monastery kingdom Lo-Mangthang we head off to Ghar Gumpa which is also interesting place to explore the local area in upper mustang trek. Climbing the ridge, we get our last view of the walled city and down to the valley towards Ghar Gompa. This walk is on the desert you'll suffer the dusty and blowing cold wind so as suggested to walk in morning time and overnight at Ghar Gumpa.
Day 10: Ghar Gumpa to Ghiling 3806mtrs/ 5-6 hours.
Out trek descent to the valley via Ghami Khola passing Mui La 417omtrs and different unique houses of village as well as with many chortens walking along the dusty trail, so we recumbent you that it would be better to walk in morning and evening time for explore in this area overnight at Ghiling.
Day 11: Ghiling to Chele 3050mtrs/5-6 hours.
After the breakfast we trek down to Chele, passing through different river and villages like Syanboche, Chungsi Cave and we will arrive Samar 3660mtrs from where we can see view of Annapurna and Nilgiri range, which lunch spot for today. After the lunch trek ascent to Dajori La pass 3735mtrs then trail descent to Chele overnigh at lodge.
Day 12: Chele to Jomsom 2720mtrs/ 6-7 hrs walk
This is the last day in upper mustang area. This our trail follow the Kali Gandaki River bank of left side and passing the villages of Chhusang, Tangbe of Gurng village including white,red and Black chortens then way continue to follow to the last point of Upper mustang gate bug village Kagbeni, from here down we called Jomsome Muktinath trek. We have lunch at kagbeni then we trek to district headquarter Jomsomafter 6-7 hours walk overnight at lodge and review of your trip and enjoy with your trip staff.
Day 13: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara 823mtrs/ 35 minute by fly.
Fly out from Jomsom to beautiful city Pokhara then rest of time enjoy in city or visit to local area of Pokhara as well Paragliding, Zip flyer and boating on Phewa Lake, if there is no flight then can take Jeep to Pokhara.
Day 14: Drive/fly to Kathmandu/6-7 hours drive and 30 minute fly.
Back to Kathmandu after your adventure trip by tourist bus 6-7 hour and by Flight 30 minutes stay own your booked hotel and rest of time buy some gift and souvenir for your family, relative and friends. We provide farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
